Arden White Aviation and Aerospace are proud to partner with an industry-leading Aircraft Wheel & Brake MRO, certified by EASA, FAA, and TCCA, in the search for an accomplished Managing Director / Accountable Manager to lead its UK-based operations.

The Opportunity

As Managing Director / Accountable Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the strategic direction, operational performance, and regulatory compliance of a high-performing MRO business within a global aviation group.
You’ll lead a talented technical and management team, ensuring operations meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and commercial performance.
This is a career-defining leadership role for a seasoned aviation professional ready to shape the next phase of growth for a respected and expanding maintenance organisation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clear strategic leadership and drive operational excellence.
  • Act as the Part-145 Accountable Manager, ensuring compliance with CAA / EASA / FAA / TCCA regulations.
  • Champion a strong Safety Management System (SMS) and compliance-first culture.
  • Deliver financial results through growth, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Strengthen partnerships with customers, OEMs, regulators, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Lead, develop, and empower a high-performing management team.
  • Ensure full alignment with corporate governance, systems, and group strategy.


What You’ll Bring

  • Proven senior leadership experience within an aviation MRO environment.
  • Direct accountability under EASA / CAA / FAA Part 145 approvals.
  • Strong knowledge of aviation safety, compliance, and airworthiness.
  • Solid financial and commercial acumen — EBITDA, growth, and cost control.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A collaborative leader who fosters safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Preferred:

Experience leading multi-site or international MRO operations.

Demonstrated success in corporate integration, compliance, and audit readiness.
