Aviation Technical Trainer

Arden White Aerospace and Aviation Recruitment are currently working with a leading/ MRO based in Ireland within the recruitment of an Aviation Trainer
The Aviation Trainer will develop and deliver EASA Part 66 and other aviation training programmes, both theoretical and practical, in accordance with EASA Part 147 requirements. This role involves delivering high-quality training, assessing students, developing materials, and supporting our clients global training operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver EASA Part 66 Theoretical and Practical Training modules.
• Prepare, review, and maintain training materials, workshops, and classrooms.
• Conduct assessments and examinations per EASA Part 147 standards.
• Maintain training and examination databases securely and accurately.
• Participate in training schedule planning and liaise with customers and authorities.
• Support the update of MTOE, training policies, and procedures.
• Deliver training on-site and abroad, sometimes for extended periods.
• Mentor, coach, and act as class representative for assigned student groups.
• Support other Aviation Services Teams and deputise for the Training Team Leader when required.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Completed a recognised Traineeship or Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance (Mechanical or Avionics),Structures and Composites, or another technical trade
• Must be prepared to pass relevant EASA Part 66 Modules if not already completed.
• Experience in teaching or training (preferably in an EASA Part 147 environment).
• Strong knowledge of EASA Parts 145, 147, and 66.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Proven instructional design and delivery capability.
• Self-motivated, independent, and confident professional.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and general IT tools.
• Experience with online training or e-learning platforms an advantage.
