Job Title:
Location: Ramsgate

Job Purpose:
Our client, a leader in the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) sector, is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carefully disassemble hydraulic and mechanical components down to their sub-components and individual parts.
  • Conduct thorough inspections including:
    • Interpreting technical data.
    • Diagnosing faults and identifying component wear, damage, or corrosion.
    • Using precision-calibrated measuring equipment.
    • Completing and populating computer-generated documentation accurately.
  • Reassemble hydraulic and mechanical components according to technical data, preparing them for final testing and inspection.
  • Assist the test bay engineer by conducting tests on various hydraulic and pneumatic units, following detailed test procedures, and compiling test reports.
  • Maintain adherence to all standard operating procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements including those set by CAA, EASA, FAA, and company protocols.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Perform other tasks as required to support operational and business needs.

Health and Safety Responsibilities:

  • Understand and manage individual operational safety and security responsibilities.
  • Be aware of aviation safety responsibilities as outlined in the Safety Policy.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English, with a strong ability to interpret and adhere to detailed compliance manuals.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality, workmanship, and safety.
  • Strong ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Strong analytical, administrative, and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
