Stores manager / Warehouse Manager / Material Handling Manager – Norfolk

We build world-class, high-performance and lightweight sports cars that are sold all around the world.? We are looking for a Stores manager / Material Handling Manager / Warehouse manager to join us at our Norwich site.  This role is permanent but will require a shift pattern that bridges two shift…we have some flexibility on this but nominally 1pm to 8pm
 What you will do:
The role involves being responsible for the planning and execution of all aspects of warehouse, material handling & 3PL integrated operations.  Specifically

• achieve KPI targets related to health & safety, material availability, inventory accuracy and door-to-line delivery performance, executed through a culture of strong leadership, teamwork and commitment.

• Implement & develop a material handling operations organisation,  in accordance with safety, cost and operational execution targets.
• Develops, implements and executes processes that ensure consistent quality in material handling operational service levels.
• Conduct Layered Process Audits focused on Safety, 5S and Operational Effectiveness (availability, productivity, quality).

What You’ll Bring:

• • Significant experience as a warehouse/logistics senior manager in a fast-paced operations environment.
  • Experience managing 3PL integrated relationships.
  • Strong people/performance management skills.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous improvement & warehouse/logistics functional excellence.
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing operations.
