Adren White is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for the role of Maintenance Planner. This role is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic team, supporting the planning and material requirements for scheduled aircraft maintenance.

Location: Broughton
Working Hours: Standard 35 hours per week, spread over 4.5 days (between 7am – 7pm, hours to be agreed at business discretion).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative and company procedures to maintain aircraft airworthiness and company standards.
  • Liaise with Operations Controllers, Technical Records, and the Maintenance Team to align on operational capability and capacity.
  • Input technical log utilisation data into the maintenance system.
  • Conduct weekly reviews of allocated aircraft status reports to ensure maintenance programme compliance.
  • Identify and update provisional maintenance dates for allocated aircraft based on projected utilisation.
  • Review material requirements for upcoming maintenance and raise requisitions for any missing materials.
  • Raise and manage aircraft scheduled maintenance orders.
  • Review and prepare work specifications and packages, aiming to minimise aircraft downtime.
  • Confirm material availability for scheduled maintenance events.
  • Ensure planning documentation supports the requirements of scheduled maintenance inputs.
  • Reset maintenance tasks within the MIS system.
  • Perform additional tasks as required by the management team in support of the operation.

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Solid knowledge of EASA regulations, particularly Part M and Part 145, relating to airworthiness and maintenance requirements.
  • Experience using SAP and ERP systems for technical records, planning, and maintenance.
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).

Education and Qualifications: Essential:

  • Formal training in EASA Part 145 and Part M regulations.

Desirable:

  • Academic qualification in an aviation-related discipline (e.g., NVQ, BTEC, HNC/D).
