About the Role
As a Key Account Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing key customer accounts, ensuring smooth operations, and supporting the delivery of tailored engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the generation of quotations with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate responses.
- Effectively communicate quotations to customers and track all progress.
- Manage the commercial aspects of existing programs, ensuring open orders are tracked and invoicing is completed accurately.
- Respond to customer inquiries with the support of internal technical specialists to provide the best solutions.
- Engage in commercial negotiations to align capabilities with customer needs, ensuring maximum value for both parties.
- Consider and uphold health, safety, environmental, and energy impacts in all aspects of the role.
- Support compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018 by following company policies and best practices.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience in driving progress across teams and ensuring timely delivery.
- Background in an engineering or manufacturing environment, ideally within the automotive or aerospace industries.
- Experience with SAP or similar business systems.
