We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a renowned provider of aerospace services, for the position of Hydraulic Test Engineer. Our client has been a trusted name in the aerospace industry for over 60 years, offering comprehensive overhaul and repair services to international and regional airlines, helicopter operators, and airframe manufacturers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

As a Hydraulic Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the precise testing and fault diagnosis of hydraulic components from various rotary and fixed-wing aircraft. Your duties will include:

• Conducting hydraulic testing on pumps, motors, valves, actuators, servos, and landing gear from a diverse range of aircraft.
• Diagnosing faults in hydraulic and mechanical fluid power systems.
• Monitoring and managing stock levels of hydraulic fluids and consumables.
• Performing daily and weekly maintenance checks on test rigs to ensure optimal operation.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the Test Bay and continuously improving safety practices.
• Documenting all training activities, both internal and external, to ensure comprehensive skill development.
• Adhering to industry-standard quality assurance regulations and safety guidelines.

Experience:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Demonstrable experience in a hydraulic testing environment.
