Gauge & Calibration Technician

Join a Leading Engineering Team in Precision Calibration
Arden White is seeking a Gauge & Calibration Technician to ensure the accuracy of measurements and calibration across a range of equipment. In this role, you will maintain records, perform calibrations, and contribute to the improvement of our processes in a dynamic, high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Calibrate measuring equipment and production gauges in the laboratory.
• Manage the calibration of specialist hand tools, ovens, hardness testers, and pressure test equipment.
• Coordinate with external suppliers for the calibration of specialist equipment (CMMs, height gauges, etc.).
• Maintain calibration certification records and ensure traceability.
• Assist in developing and improving inspection and calibration procedures.
• Participate in internal and external audits as required by the Quality Manager.
• Raise purchase requisitions and ensure all work is completed on budget and on time.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE and Data Protection Act 2018.

Candidate Profile:

• Technical qualification (degree, HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC) or signatory status.
• Extensive calibration knowledge (UKAS certification preferred but not essential).
• Strong understanding of calibration practices and theories.
• Excellent computer and database skills.
• Experience in a customer-focused environment and familiarity with SAP is desirable.
• Flexible and proactive with a strong work ethic.
