Location: TW16 – Surrey
Hours: 0730-1600 Monday to Thursday, 0730-1300 on Friday
Salary: Competitive, based on experience + OT Opps

Experienced Electronics Assembly Technician to join a company working in Aerospace, Defence, and Marine sectors. We are hiring!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electronic and Mechanical Assembly: Build electrical assemblies following technical drawings, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines).
  • Component Testing: Inspect, test, and troubleshoot finished products to ensure they meet the highest quality standards.
  • Repair & Upgrades: Conduct upgrades and repairs on both mechanical and electrical assemblies, ensuring efficient operation.
  • Use of Hand Tools: Operate tools like torque drivers, crimping tools, micrometers, and verniers for precise assembly.
  • Assembly of Complex Systems: Work on fan/motors, heaters, and electronic components used in aviation, aerospace, and defence equipment.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in electronics assembly (e.g., assembling small components, soldering, or similar work).
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with aviation and aerospace systems, as well as defence and marine components.
  • Drawings & Schematics: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, CMMs, and SOPs accurately.
  • Precision Assembly: Experience with small component assembly, including tasks like soldering and assembling electronic circuits.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify issues during the testing and inspection phase.
