Your Opportunity: Are you ready to take your CNC machining skills to new heights? We’re thrilled to unveil an exhilarating opportunity for a CNC Setter/Operator to join their dynamic team. This role is newly created, a testament to their continuous growth and commitment to excellence.

Position: CNC Setter/Operator

  • Full-Time Position (38.5 hours a week)
  • Monday to Thursday 07.45 am to 16.15 pm
  • Friday 07.45 am to 14.45 pm
  • Flexibility for rotated shift patterns (morning/evening)

Remuneration:

  • £15 per hour (Full time, Dependent on experience) – Overtime paid at 1.3 X after 38.5 hours.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC machinist
  • Formal apprenticeship is desirable, but not essential
  • Prior experience with high-tolerance F1, Oil and Gas, or aerospace components
  • Prior experience operating vertical milling machines

Operating Systems:

  • Knowledge of HAAS & Siemens controller is advantageous

The Role:

  • Manufacture one-off and small batch sub-contract machined components for Formula 1, Aerospace & Oil & Gas industries.
  • Work from engineering drawings to set and operate Haas & Belotti 3 & 5 axis machining centers with HAAS & Siemens controllers.
  • Ability to understand and work to engineering drawings.
  • Work with a variety of materials
