CNC Grinder – Performance Engines

Double Days (Rotating weekly shifts)
 

Arden White is working with a powertrain engineering business and looking for an experienced CNC Grinder to join the team.  If you know your way around grinding machines and have a passion for all things engineering, we would love to hear from you.
 

What will I be doing?

• Set and operate department Grinding machines manufacturing engine components
• TPM checks
• Ensure that information is transferred between shifts and team members as required.

What will I need?

• Time served Beneficial but not essential
• Knowledge of Grinding essential
• Knowledge of Cam & Crank manufacturing advantageous
• Knowledge of CNC Grinding Machines such as Junker & Kellenburger
• Ability to Set and Operate Manual Grinding Machines (Cylindrical & Surface)
• Ability to problem solve and see errors in NC code
• Demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of, work holding methods. Tool selection, cutting tool parameters and manual machining techniques.
