CNC CAM Programming Manager

We are looking for a CAM Programming Manager to optimise programming processes and improve productivity within our clients high-performance Machine Shop team. You’ll work closely with the Machining Group Leader to enhance machine utilisation, reduce costs, and ensure timely program delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and prioritise the daily workload of CAM Programmers to ensure maximum productivity.
• Troubleshoot program-related machine and manufacturing issues.
• Collaborate with Production Engineering to implement improvements that reduce costs and lead times.
• Ensure CAM programs meet specifications, managing deviations and potential delays.
• Foster smooth communication across shifts to ensure effective transitions.
• Use best practices to enhance programming efficiency in collaboration with Machining Group Leaders and Machinists.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in leading and motivating a high-performing team.
• Expertise in NX programming for multi-axis machines.
• Experience in 5-axis programming with metallic, composite, or pattern materials.
• Proficiency in Vericut simulation software.
• Strong technical drawing interpretation and tight tolerance experience.
• Flexible approach to shift work and a commitment to the Apprentice training programme.
