Manufacturing Supervisor Vacancy | Manchester

Arden White Aerospace and Defence Recruitment are currently working with a leading manufacturer in the defence industry seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor.

We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Supervisor on a permanent basis paying £45,000 – £55,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

• To lead and Supervise manufacturing operations team to safely ensure the on-time delivery of finished products at correct quality and cost
• Champion continuous improvement in all activities
• Responsible for effective deployment of resource, achieving business returned hour targets are delivered
• Ensuring the manufacturing team can deliver on targets
• Reporting writing
• Ensure that the company Quality Management Systems and Manufacturing Procedures are followed

Person Specification

• Must have production supervisor/manufacturing supervisor/cell leader experience in the Aerospace, Automotive or Defence industry
• Experience planning and leading manufacturing schedules
• Must have experience managing teams of 20+ people
