Have you recently finished your apprenticeship and looking to progress your journey in production engineering? 

Arden White is currently looking for a JUNIOR PRODUCTION ENGINEER to join one of our clients who lead the way in Performance Engines in the motorsport and automotive sectors.

We are looking for someone who can produce CNC programmes, Jig, Fixture, tooling & support documentation to manufacture performance engine components,

What you will do as a Junior Production Engineer

• Produce manufacturing routings, cost estimates & proposals
• Design Jig / fixture & special tools using NX6 or equivalent CAD packages
• Produce CNC programmes for 3, 4 & 5 axis and Mill/Turn machines
• Support machine prove-outs
• Produce manufacturing proposals
• Support CI initiatives & continual reduction of Set / Run times

What you will need:

• Minimum of 3yrs Apprentice training
• Competent in the use CAD / CAM systems (NX6 or equivalent)
• Knowledge of CNC programming
• Knowledge of latest cutting technologies
• Competent in the use of Vericut 7 & AutoCAD
• Experience in Fixture designs
• Experience in the use of SAP & all Microsoft products
