Based in the heart of the Motorsport valley, Arden White are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer to join one of our clients who are battery specialist delivering electric and hybrid solutions to the motorsport and automotive sectors.

What you will do

• Producing design solutions for Battery Systems, Supervisory Control Systems, Catalytic Generators and Powertrain integration.
• Working to a range of industry standards for quality and validation

What you will need:

• 3+ years of work experience in HV Battery and/or EV powertrain mechanical design would be ideal
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline.
• Strong experience of CAD software, preferably CATIA V5
• The ability to interpret mechanical FEA studies
• A good understanding of design for assembly
